David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Prolific young adult author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
An official for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable involving women.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."

Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies internationally in 55 languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.
Several of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
He has published in excess of 40 works altogether, including a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
Television and Literature
His initial claim to fame came on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE back in 2017 for his services to charity and the arts.
This move occurs subsequent to the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
